The Evil Dead (1981)

One of the movies that made me who I am today. I was 14 and had the flu when a friend handed me The Evil Dead VHS tape back in 1981. My 11 year old sister was also home sick so with our parents at work I put this on and we were so FREAKED OUT! For awhile, I had a movie ranking system and Evil Dead was the goriest. The Thing was the scariest. Dawn of the Dead was both. It still amazes me how Sam Raimi did this on a shoe string budget.
